IBPS PO 2019 Pre-Exam Training: Dates, Admit Card & Exam Center

IBPS will organize a Pre-Exam Training for IBPS PO 2019 in the month of September. Interested candidates from SC/ST/Minority Communities can attend the training. The program will last for 5 days at the deputed exam centers. 

Training will start in the month of September 2019. The purpose of the training is to familiarize the candidates with the exam pattern and syllabus along with few preparation tips for IBPS PO 2019 Exam.

IBPS PO 2019 Admit Card for Pre-Exam training will be issued to the interested candidates which can be downloaded by submitting their Registration No. and Password/DOB at the official website.

  • Click on the link to download call letter (admit card) for PO/MT-VII running on the top of the page.

IBPS PO 2019 Pre-Exam Training Centers

IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training is arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations for the candidates from SC/ ST/ Minority Communities at certain centers. All expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. has to be borne by candidate for attending the pre-examination training.

IBPS PO 2019 Exam Pattern

The Common Written Exam is an online exam, which will be held in two stages. The first round is the Preliminary stage and the next one is the Main exam. IBPS PO Exam Pattern for both stages is discussed below:

IBPS PO – Preliminary 

Candidates need to qualify the exam to be eligible for IBPS PO Main Exam. 

  • Exam Mode: Online 
  • Time Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
  • Sections: 3 sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability
  • Question Type: MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark each
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for wrong answer

Candidates have to qualify each of the three sections by securing IBPS PO Cut off. Eligible candidates in each category are shortlisted for online Main Examination.

Note– If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by candidate, there will be no penalty for that question. Those candidates who clear this stage will able to go at next stage i.e. the Main Exam.

IBPS PO – Mains Exam

Candidates must qualify Mains exam to get shortlisted for the last phase of selection. The scores in this exam will contribute in the final selection or final allotment of a candidate. 

  • Exam Mode: Online 
  • Time Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes (210 minutes)
  • Sections: 4 + 1 sections: English, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General Awareness and English descriptive paper
  • Question Type: MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark each
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for wrong answer
